Plastic Bags
Hey guys, has anyone read the article on plastic bag tax from D.C.? It seems that everyone has to pay the tax except the major newspaper companies like The Washington Post. They don't have to get rid of the plastic bag sleeve they use to cover their papers when delivering Them. The lobbyists are certainly doing their job there. Whats good for one company must be good for another, we need to speak out and be heard on this issue so other companies can benefit from this same loop hole write you State Representative today and lets see what they have to say about this!

Isn't it amazing how the powers that be have the ability to apply the laws as they see fit?
ReplyDeleteHey it sure is sometimes the power of money and the media can make you or brake you! In this case the newspaper companies have it going their way. I read where some senator's are trying to band plastic bags altogether their saying that plastic bags are the reason our land fills are over run with garbage, they want to substitute one piece of trash for another...
